Give It To Jesus ~

Let Me have that,
put it here in My palm
let Me take that from you
so I can give you My calm.
Give that to Me,
you don’t need to carry it
give it all to Me
in My hand it will surely fit.
Place that right here,
don’t hang on to that thing
I want the all of it
so My peace I can bring.
Bring that to Me,
that is too heavy for you
let Me hold that
I know what with it to do.
Let Me have that,
release it all into My care
give it entirely to Me . . .
and let Me that burden bear!

Thumpity-Thump ~

When you&#;re overwhelmed,
when in over your head
when your mind is fuzzy
due to worry and dread.
That&#;s when to God,
you must run and go
praying all along
for His will to know.
When you&#;re discouraged,
when down in the dump
when your heart starts
to go thumpity-thump.
That&#;s when onto Jesus,
you need to cast your care
for He has promised . . .
your burdens He will bear.
When you&#;re mind is fuzzy,
and thump goes your heart
that&#;s when you need to pray . . .
for a faith jump-start!

Be careful for nothing;
but in every thing by prayer
and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests
be made known unto God.
And the peace of God,
which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds

The Bible Doesn&#;t Say ~

The Bible doesn&#;t say,
to be anxious . . .
or that we&#;re to be
uneasy or nervous.
Instead it tells us,
to pray for everything
and not to be burdened
about anything.
The Bible doesn&#;t say,
to be powerless . . .
or that we&#;re to be
fearful or spineless.
Instead it tells us,
to be filled with God&#;s might
and to have the strength
to stay in the faithful fight.
The Bible doesn&#;t say,
that being meek . . .
means that we are
helpless or weak!

Trusting God ~

Some people trust God,
with only so much . . .
some with His Word
are always in touch.
For they know and believe,
He will lead and direct
and so they make sure
their paths always connect.
Some people credit God,
with only a few things . . .
some understand daily
the blessings He brings.
For they pray without,
ever stopping or ceasing
knowing that His mercy
He is always releasing.
Some people trust God,
with all of their hearts . . .
some don&#;t understand
how to even start!
